Terms of Service
Clear expectations for exterior cleaning services.
These Terms of Service govern exterior cleaning services provided by JewelGlow Co. (“JewelGlow,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accepting a quote, scheduling service, paying a deposit, or otherwise authorizing work, the customer agrees to the applicable terms below.
1. Quotes and Scope of Work
Quotes are based on information reasonably available when prepared, including customer-provided information, photographs, measurements, visible property conditions, and requested services. The final scope is limited to services identified in the accepted quote or Service Agreement. Conditions not reasonably apparent when quoted, substantially different measurements, inaccessible areas, surface deterioration, or additional requested work may require a revised price. JewelGlow will obtain approval before performing additional work that materially increases the agreed price.
2. Deposit and Final Payment
A 25% deposit is required to reserve and confirm the job. The remaining 75% balance is due upon completion of the agreed work, unless the parties agree otherwise in writing. Any deposit refund or cancellation provision is subject to rights that cannot legally be waived.
3. Scheduling, Cancellation and Weather
Customers should provide at least 24 hours’ notice when cancelling or rescheduling. Less-than-24-hour cancellations may result in loss of some or all of the deposit when permitted by applicable law and as disclosed in the quote or Service Agreement. JewelGlow may postpone service for rain, lightning, high winds, unsafe conditions, equipment problems, or other circumstances affecting safety or service quality. A weather-related rescheduling by JewelGlow will not by itself cause deposit forfeiture. Nothing here limits a longer or otherwise non-waivable cancellation, refund, or notice right required by applicable Florida law.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- Keep windows and doors securely closed.
- Provide access to areas in the agreed scope and an operable exterior water source when required.
- Move vehicles, furniture, decorations, electronics, fragile objects, and other movable property away from the work area when reasonably possible.
- Keep children and pets away from active work areas.
- Tell JewelGlow about known leaks, damaged surfaces, failing paint, loose materials, delicate plants, recently treated surfaces, electrical hazards, security equipment, or other conditions affecting the work.
5. Pre-Existing Conditions and Surface Limitations
Cleaning can expose conditions previously hidden by dirt, algae, mold, mildew, grime, or staining, including cracks, loose mortar or pavers, deteriorated caulking, wood rot, loose siding or trim, damaged screens, failing seals, peeling paint, previous repairs, and weakened or improperly installed materials. JewelGlow is not responsible for damage caused by a pre-existing defect or condition not created by JewelGlow’s work. Sun, weather, and age may cause oxidation, fading, chalking, coating failure, or deterioration that becomes more visible after cleaning. Unless specifically included in the quote, standard exterior cleaning does not include restoration of oxidation, paint, coatings, sealers, rust, oil penetration, permanent staining, or material deterioration.
6. Water, Landscaping and Personal Property
The customer is responsible for maintaining reasonably weather-tight windows, doors, vents, seals, electrical fixtures, and other exterior openings. JewelGlow will use reasonable care but cannot guarantee against water entering through defective, deteriorated, improperly installed, open, or inadequately sealed components. JewelGlow will take reasonable precautions around plants, grass, landscaping, outdoor furniture, fixtures, and other property. Customers should identify unusually delicate landscaping and remove movable or especially valuable objects before work begins. JewelGlow remains responsible to the extent required by applicable law for damage caused by its negligence or wrongful conduct.
7. Cleaning Results
Exterior cleaning is intended to improve appearance and condition, but perfect or complete stain removal is not guaranteed. Results vary by material, age, porosity, previous treatment, oxidation, staining, environmental exposure, and existing deterioration. Certain rust, oil, mineral, hard-water, paint, oxidation, or deeply embedded stains may require specialized treatment not included in standard cleaning.
8. Customer Concerns and Damage Reports
Customers are asked to inspect completed work and notify JewelGlow of any service concern or suspected property damage as soon as reasonably possible and preferably within 48 hours after completion. Prompt notice allows an opportunity to inspect and, where appropriate, propose a reasonable resolution. This 48-hour request does not waive or shorten any legal right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived or shortened.
9. Photography
JewelGlow may photograph serviced areas before, during, and after work for property-condition documentation, quality control, and dispute prevention. Promotional use of customer-property photographs is governed by separate, optional marketing-photo authorization. JewelGlow will not intentionally publish a customer’s name, street address, license plate, or recognizable likeness as part of non-identifying before-and-after marketing without appropriate permission.
10. Electronic Records and Applicable Law
Quotes, approvals, agreements, acknowledgments, and other records may be provided and accepted electronically to the extent permitted by law. These Terms are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Florida. Nothing in these Terms waives a consumer-protection or other legal right that cannot legally be waived.
11. Contact
Questions, cancellations, or service concerns may be submitted through the published contact methods: [email protected] or (321) 260-2780.
